What happens at an appointment?

When you arrive, you’ll decide on a bracelet, necklaces, anklet or ring. Then you’ll be able to choose from an array of chains and charms. Once you’ve decided what you’d like, your item will be sized to your comfort and then welded on.

**How long does gold filled jewelry last?

This depends on many factors. Gold filled jewelry, simply put, is a thin layer of solid gold bonded to a base metal such as copper, sterling silver, brass. Gold filled is more affordable than solid gold and more durable and longer lasting than gold plated jewelry.

Gold filled jewelry will last a very long time if properly taken care of. Keeping your jewelry away from harsh chemicals no matter the type of metal, is always a good idea.

Your lifestyle will help determine the type of metal that is right for you. If your lifestyle requires you to constantly be around chlorine, salt water…I always suggest investing in solid gold. It’s an investment for sure, but one that will last a lifetime and beyond.

Does it hurt?

No, I use a small leather patch to create a barrier between your skin and the welding pen. One small spark and you’ll be on your way!

I want a more customized 14k solid gold charm…how do I go about ordering?

Please see what I currently offer HERE. Please contact me no later than 2 week before you schedule your appointment so that your item can be ordered in a timely manner. **A 50% deposit will be required for the 14k solid gold charms.

What if I want to remove my chain?

I can easily remove your chain without damage. Just make an appointment for a removal. If in the off case you’re unable to make an appointment to remove your chain, the jumpring can easily be snipped off with a sharp pair of scissors. Once you snip your jumpring, save your chain - it can easily be re welded on again.

What if I snag and break my chain?

Your chain can be easily welded back on with another jumpring. Just make an appointment for a repair. **I will repair all chains purchased within 30 days one time only. All jumprings are checked for proper weld before customer pays. If chain is broken by a link, another jumpring may be needed to make the repair. If the chain is too damaged to be repaired, purchase of a new chain may be required.

Do you fix permanent jewelry welded elsewhere?

Yes! I will gladly fix broken permanent jewelry welded from another business with discretion. A $25 charge will apply.

Can I get through TSA?

Yes, TSA should be no problem. In the event you’re required to remove your permanent jewelry, please make an appointment to have it removed.

What if I have to have an MRI, surgery or other event that requires me to remove my permanent jewelry?

In some cases, you’re able to tape down your permanent jewelry for an MRI, but this needs to be verified with your health care provider first and foremost. If you’re in a predicament where you cannot cannot make an appointment for removal, do your best to cut only the small jumpring, avoid cutting the chain if you can. Save your chain because it can always be welded back on.
